“Who looks inside, awakes,” C.G. Jung

“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken,” said Oscar Wilde, putting a humorous spin on the ancient advice of the Delphi oracle and Socrates to “Know thyself.” The Chinese sage, Lao Tzu said: “He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.” Krishnamurti advises us: “What will bring peace is inward transformation, which will lead to outward action.” Thich Nhat Hanh, a contemporary wisdom elder says: “To be beautiful means to be yourself.”

Who Was Carl Jung?

The analytic psychology of C.G. Jung is based on scientific research, clinical observation and ancient knowledge found in myths, fairy tales and spiritual traditions. Analysis of the inner world and unconscious includes “talk therapy,” arts therapy and examination of dreams where associations, art, and knowledge of ancient patterns of thought in myths, fairy tales assist in our understanding.
